WHERE: Defined Place Part 1 Project 2020 Jiseung Shin Korea National University of Arts | South Korea Where.Where is this place defined.The work covers ‘built Environment’, ‘artificial landscape’, ‘architectural landscape’, ‘landspace’, ‘topography’, ‘landscape’, ‘given condition’, ‘place’, ‘inside’.The park as a forest, the city, and the park as a city, which were the spaces of outsiders, adapted to the places of insiders. These three spaces keep their areas(redefined space) with distinct boundaries.According to the architectural landscape, It is better for each area to be kept solid than the green axis passes through the city and the city expands and invade the park. The three areas should accept each other as ‘inside’, as found here and now, not as ‘outside’ to be excluded.In the city tightened by distinct boundaries, an organization that structurally enhances its solidity of the area is proposed. Four cultural bases on the road are designed to unite the city and coordinate the relationship with the two parks that are tightening the city. The proposal is made up of Station, Artificial Park, Object Garden, and Watching Tower. Among the four, designing the Artificial Park was focused on.At the Artificial Park, various forms of interaction take places, placeness of the city is solidified, and the architectural landscape is accumulated.
