Sway Backlands Part 2 Project 2016 Lucy Arnold Arts University Bournemouth | UK Sway Backlands is a proposal to help combat the housing need in the village of Sway. The lack of smaller homes means younger people are having to leave the village, resulting in an increasingly aging population. Three different house types and a communal garden are proposed to house younger and older residents of Sway, with a focus on community and reforming the perceived social detachment of the village.
