Phytostabilizer Seed in Cauquenes mining tailings Part 0 Project 2018 University of Chile | Chile Mining extraction and refining are the basis of the economic progress of Chile, but also are destroying the ecosystem due to the toxic waste which is poured into tailing basins stablishing a permanent danger to communities nearby.This project attempts to be a pioneer solution establishing both a botanical research and greenhouse program focused on the phytostabilization process on the mining basin, and a touristic centre for the community.
