Set within the extensive boundary between a future fictional and non-fictional Bournemouth, this architecture examines an imagined development in humanity’s relationship with environmental forces.

Plotting social and constitutional shifts and detailing them in the fictional construction of political and residential architecture; this designed landscape is the exhaustive combination of two people’s vision for equal rights across human and non-human entities.

Designed to elevate the stance of written narrative within the field of architectural visualisation; this stylistic format looks to encourage the assimilation of experiential characteristics and utilizes a continual cross reference of detail between text and imagery.

Inspired by fictional realms of J. G. Ballard’s The Drowned World, Brian Catlings The Vorrh and the non-fictional, writings of Bruno Latour; this project challenges conventions of chronology, depths of descriptive portrayal and the trade of factual and fictional information. This approach is designed to tease the participant into obsession over creative details, inducing a more immersive exchange between audience and creative content. It allows additional layers of material to enhance sensory stimulation and encourages individual interpretations of our future human condition.
