Banja Sarajevo Part 2 Project 2017 Fraser Wallis University of Bath | UK Banja Sarajevo explores Sarajevo’s history as a thermal spring town and is a vessel for bathing, treatments and relaxation. Located where the riverside park meets the Austro-Hungarian city, the building sits comfortably within the city fabric and enhances the surrounding public realm. Internally, a sequence of three pools progresses from dark inward looking spaces to brighter and more open pools, before culminating in open-air terraces with views over the city.
