The Border Machine – Reappropriation of Wasted Commodity Part 2 Project 2016 Mehr Nandhra University of Lincoln Lincoln | UK This project investigated movement of commodity between the USA/Mexico border as a result of industry between the two countries. The investigations examined the negative aspects of this process to the Mexican communities, mainly industrial waste products being discarded nearby poorer communities, and attempted to create a new industrial complex on the border that would benefit local communities and reduce the waste impact of existing industrial processes in the area.
