Resomation a form of bio-cremation was legalised by the Scottish Government in 2016.Inspired by Neolithic recumbent stone circles unique to North-East Scotland, the form of the development draws on this shape, taking mourners on a procession through the site, to experience different stages of grief; encouraging feelings of inner peace before returning to their daily lives.
