Aramburu Residential: Urban Harmony Part 1 Project 2024 Arianna Fuentes Davila Quelopana University of Lima | Peru The project design is based on maintaining cohesion and harmony with the existing urban environment, specifically with the characteristic profile of Aramburú Plaza. This profile is preserved and extended towards an adjacent small square, which acts as a transition space or atrium between the plaza and the architectural project. In addition to housing units, the project includes common areas distributed across different levels, fostering social interaction among residents and promoting a sense of community within the housing complex. The horizontal circulations within the building are carefully designed to offer views both outward, towards the surrounding buildings of the historic center, and inward, towards the common areas of the project itself. This arrangement allows residents to enjoy a visual connection with their surroundings, while also creating an architectural framework that integrates the project with the broader urban context. In summary, the project design aims not only to provide functional housing but also to create an environment that promotes social interaction, connection with the urban environment, and a sense of belonging within the community.
