The scheme deals with scientific solutions for stone and brick restoration along
with light engineering research on portable pumps, developing means to help
preserve the fabric from decay and flooding.
Located on the waters edge of the Isola Di San Michele, containing a monastic
renaissance church and cemetery to the Venetian population; the Napoleon army
merged the two islands and banned burials from the city’s historical centre.
