Located in the dynamic La Floresta neighborhood of Medellín, this Collective Housing project “Calles en Altura” responds to a residential and commercial area with high vehicular and pedestrian flows due to its proximity to the metro station. Integrated into its environment, the set offers habitats with innovative solutions and spaces for community interaction focused on social life.

On the first floor (public) there is a large patio, community services and commercial areas that create a permeable urban space. In addition, commercial areas and collective services are located on the different levels of the building enriching residential life. Circulations with wide and narrow spaces facilitate both permanence and mobility, promoting diverse activities. The concept of "streets in height" is enhanced with façades that can be molded through steps that promote spaces for social interaction through the creation of green and recreational areas, which act as an anteroom for the housing units (domestic habitat) permeated by the streets. creating a social space both internal (private) and external (public) that once again looks outside, through its large balconies.
