Academy for Drums and Percussion – Sri Lanka Part 1 Project 2018 Deshanjana Wijesinghe City School of Architecture | Sri Lanka This project aims to create spaces that would create a world-class platform for our drum culture while raising awareness of the richness of this heritage by elevating our indigenous music to an international stage. The driving objective is to foster an appreciation of the traditional aesthetics while being flexible in adapting and evolving to the changing nature of music – primarily through the architecture and activities it supports.
