Proposed Plastic Re-Use Training & Promotional Center in Bluemandhal, Colombo Part 2 Project 2017 Rasika Maladugala City School of Architecture | Sri Lanka Community oriented Training and Promotional centre for “Reuse” plastic waste, was proposed in an abandoned garbage dump. Design approach of “Reuse” concept - of a dump as a resource & plastic waste as its building material, possibilities for its building to reuse its elements elsewhere once its intended purpose is achieved.While sub-structure stabilizing the land for future, the construction process will empower the community with new skills & livelihoods.
