Social Projects Incubator Part 1 Project 2020 Marco Antonio Ezequiel Carbajal Martell National University of Engineering | Peru The National University of Engineering campus was initially at the outskirts of Lima; however, the city expansion and informal settlements surrounded the campus. In this process, ironically, the connection between the city and the campus was lost.The urban project seeks to vindicate the role of the university in the society and the city, proposing a new urban structure in which the campus is the articulator of a new centrality by transforming the campus and city boundaries into uneven public spaces regulated by new mixed buildings that provide vitality to these. In addition, it connects all these public spaces around the campus creating a meeting area for the city.The Incubator consolidates this idea by providing the north area of the campus with diverse facilities for the interaction of students and the community. The building seeks to keep a spirit of openness, which will support outdoor activities, it will be a meeting place to start up new ideas and complement them with the technology and service provided by the University.
