Spi[Ritual] Awakening Part 1 Project 2016 Adam Rich Sheffield Hallam University | UK The Blackburne Blood Centre aims to highlight the spiritual nature of blood donation. Altruism, a concern for the welfare of others and a core aspect of giving blood, is neither acknowledged or celebrated in existing facilities. The design is partially submerged to prevent the obscuration of the neighbouring listed building, Blackburne House.
