The centre of Ibagué city presents transformations in its cultural value caused by
the evolution of the city, the problem is the disarticulation between contemporary
uses of buildings and the cultural environment of the centre. Therefore, an urban
promenade composed by a cultural centre that articulates iconic buildings is
projected, to reduce the loss of Ibagué´s cultural values.
