Based on the fact that memory is linked to events and places, the research presents a concern for the place as a space that bears witness to memory and, therefore, endowed with an atmosphere that characterizes it. A rise of architectural intentions is presented to commemorate the victims of the armed conflict in Colombia, where there is evidence of a concentration in the cities ignoring rurality as a place of conflict and the traditional function of museums reduces architecture as a container of memory, preventing the built space from transmitting an experience in relation to the place.

It is pertinent to recognize the river as an actor that has been a victim of the conflicto where forced disappearance has been concentrated The objective is to project an architectural object that evokes the memory of the Cauca River through its atmosphere, resulting in an itinerant element that navigates along the river and two monuments at the access and withdrawal points, which allows a commemorative experience within a driver route segmented into 3 moments: Descent, Transit and Ascent. It is intended to revive the river as a place of memory and generate a discussion within the context of the post-conflict.
