Terra Nova Part 2 Project 2018 Oliver Hill University for the Creative Arts | UK Lagos - Nigeria, dubbed the 'Mega-City of Slums', is fast becoming the western capital of Africa. Rapid expansion and overcrowding has produced a fractured metropolis looking to expand while failing to provide for the majority of its population. The thesis reconnects the City’s inhabitants with the very waterscape that shaped its development, reintroducing the people of Lagos as custodians of the lagoon, in a new approach to floating urbanism.
