Towards a New Music Part 1 Project 2016 Eugenio Cappuccio Mackintosh School of Architecture | UK The project proposes an Institute for a ‘New Music’ in the Highlands, located south of Forres, in Moray. It is situated on the Altyre Estate; an old Victorian dairy farm whose inexplicable Italianate vernacular poses perplexing questions regarding its relationship to the surrounding context. This unusual scenario paints an almost fantastical, dream-like picture of a building stuck in time; the architecture of a distant epoch transmuted into the landscape of another. Eugenio Cappuccio
