A Modern Re-Representation of Marginalised People through Printed Media Part 2 Dissertation 2016 Michael Yosief University of Central Lancashire | UK The media has been negatively portraying immigration as a crisis in recent years, and is implicit in crafting national perceptions of immigrants to paint a damning picture of a system which takes advantage of uncertainty; artificially elevating the topic to sell newspapers.
