This dissertation explores the parallelism that exists between the thought of philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) and the architectural theory of Le Corbusier (1887-1965), and focuses on highlighting the manifestation of Nietzschean concept of ‘Death of God’ in the architect’s writings, with the result that Le Corbusier appears as the architectural emissary of Nietzsche’s philosophy.
