Architecture in Uniform: PTSD prevention in military architecture Part 2 Dissertation 2017 Christopher Rogers RIBA Studio | UK This dissertation explores whether combat accommodation within war zones could be better designed to prevent Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It makes an in-depth study of psychodynamic literature on PTSD and a full study of existing accommodation. Using a detailed survey, it analyses current uses and areas of threat and provides a full design solution for the area of military bases most likely to offer support in the prevention of PTSD.
