Patterns of Dwelling in Bucharest Part 2 Dissertation 2017 Andrei Teaca Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism | Romania This thesis proposes the identification of valuable patterns of the urban form in Bucharest with which the new architecture can be integrated in the historic fabrics, underlining existing characters in order to sustain a local urban identity. By observing the existing architectural motifs which give the city its particular atmosphere, Bucharest, a city with an unclear character because of continuous transformations throughout history, could save its endangered character.
