Tomaso Buzzi, the architect, found refuge in the imagination of an ideal city, of a dream-like reality where he could escape from the society of his time. The dissertation explores the meaning of this unique and obscure piece of 20th century Italian architecture, analysing its rich typological repertoire and discussing its influence and legacy.
