Derelict sites, once symbols of progress, now stand as monuments to a linear "take-make- dispose" era. Yet, within these forgotten landscapes lies the genesis of a transformative rebirth. "Revival from Reclaimed Industrial Lands" explores the potential of integrating circular economy principles into the regeneration of post-industrial sites in the UK. The research delves into the historical and current urban policies that have shaped these landscapes, advocating for a shift towards sustainable practices in the face of escalating environmental concerns.Through case studies, the dissertation examines innovative approaches to material reuse, sustainable construction, and the transformation of wastelands into hubs for urban regeneration.
