Embracing Water Part 1 Project 2007 Sabba Khan Central Saint Martins, UAL | UK Sabba Khan This project explores both a poetic and practical response to questions of rising sea levels. Through a design which is both technically developed as well as sensitively presented, the student has achieved a very well defined outcome. From it’s site strategy; which seeks to define a new marshland usage for Canvey Island, to it’s structural approach; which considers the oyster as a metaphor, the design brings together the students understanding of culture, environment and technology.
