The project explores architecture as a medium to orchestrate brand experience and to curate the serve and service of retail pleasure.

The design is intended for the brand Vivaterra. Vivaterra sources craftsman and artisans to contribute to their product lines.

The Source is about the source in the retail experience. The opportunity of both visual and physical engagement with the craftsman and materials hopes to promote a more ethical lifestyle.

At the Bamboo source level, one would be invited into a bamboo forest, whereby one could enjoy the tranquillity that the bamboo creates – while having a sip of tea. This was imagined to be a nice reflective and pause moment between the retail layers.

At the Ceramic source level, consumers could participate in pottery making workshop or to have a drink using the cups made from the workshop. The extensive storage require for the display and drying of ceramics were designed to be integrated with the seat
The experienced is summed up with the Makers cafe. The view overlooks all the craftsman spaces and provides the exclamation mark to the whole Vivaterra experience.
