Residents of Charlton are threatened by the decreasing quality of air and lack of activities to support good mental health. This scheme proposes a series of sustainable community-led upcycling workshops to promotes positive, healthy modes of interaction. People are encouraged to collaborate and improve the design for the growth and cultivation of the surrounding environment. The project highlights the importance of recycling, up-cycling and being self-sufficient.

A greater connection to the surrounding landscape is woven into the new platform that houses five different workshops. Activities include collecting unwanted clothes, fabric, old furniture, and left-over materials from construction for up-cycling. These can be traded or used to craft a cladding material for the structure. A planting strategy envelops the site encouraging locals to grow food and cook for each other. To be energy-efficient and resourceful, small wind turbines are placed surrounding platforms with various rainwater collection systems. Additional mechanisms are designed to utilise manpower instead of relying on electricity.
