Underneath the glimmer of these landmarks, communities like Anfield often undergo gentrification or remain derelict.Could the residential also become monumental so as to compete with the capitalistic ambitions? Replacing what is now the stadium, this housing project explores how a monument for the ordinary can withstand the rapid change of living patterns and thus merge the identity of the city with its communities.
