Resilient Resettlement: Post disaster reconstruction at Poonagala Part 2 Project 2016 Yashodhara Ranasinghe University of Moratuwa | Sri Lanka This project encompasses a ‘resettlement program’ for a community displaced by a landslide that killed more than 70 inhabitants. Responding to concerns of time, cost and building system resolution for landslide vulnerability, the project supports the socio-communal values of a community moving forward with a new site and a new life. Subsequently, the project tackles the program-specific restrictions, challenges and possibilities of environmental, social, cultural, economical and technological contexts.
