The Fermented City Part 2 Project 2016 Alexander Mills De Montfort University | UK Drawing from themes of time, weathering, and memory, this project explores the concept of architectural fermentation: the ideal that places can be intentionally decayed to produce positive latent qualities. In relation to the experience of the city, these notions were investigated, discoursed, and, illustrated at several scales, before being utilised within a specific context, Leicester. The result is a series of speculative designs, found through the medium of gardens. Alexander Mills Tutor(s)
