The Ancestral Journey Ceramics is harmoniously situated within Loma Amarilla Ecological Park. The project leverages the hill's topography, establishing hierarchical axes that facilitate the connection between the middle and lower parts of the park.

Once the main topographical axes are established, solids and voids are defined by rammed earth walls that rise from the ground, minimizing the impact on the natural environment and preserving the area's biological processes. These walls not only delineate spaces but also house all stages of the ceramic production process, from extraction to painting.

The project aims to exalt pre-Columbian architectural culture through the use of rammed earth walls, which define spaces and reflect respect and care for the surrounding natural environment.

The project's strategies focus not only on enriching visitors' sensory experiences but also on supporting biological processes through architecture, ensuring the continuity of the ecosystem services offered by the site. This is evidenced by the use of water resources, integrating sloped irrigation channels that serve a structural function as beams and ensure the continuous flow of water to the cultivation areas, which provide the necessary pigments for the ceramic painting process.
