Terminal Park Part 2 Project 2025 Bruno Žganjer Šram University of Zagreb Zagreb Croatia The proposal strives to create a new urban order based on the fusion of anthropological and natural phenomena by designing a symbiosis of transportation machines and the forest. The new tramway depot becomes a central urban park, and vice versa. The Terminal Park.The tramway is used as a catalyst for urbanity. The means of transportation has always been a sculptor of space with its movements that shape the natural territory and unite space and time while spanning the scales from collective urban to individual human.The new depot of Zagreb, after sending out its trams at dawn, opens up its space as the public park. By freeing the walls of its original purpose, it offers a place for human presence.At night, the walls framed by trams create a nightscape and enclose a secure perimeter of the nighttime depot and define spaces for events and venues. Throughout the day the trams as architectural elements spread around to participate in the city’s contrasting coexistence.The park, defined by a rigid geometry of its tree planting regime, is freed over time by the usage of the machine.A new nature of futurism, a new machine of ecology.
