The project studies the green water fronts and their slums, in Medellín (Colombia)
We studied topographic breakdowns as discontinuities in the territory, due to: a. establish a limit to the growth and flux of communication system of city; b. constitute a complex natural and social ecosystem with no equilibrium c. studies and actions taken in those situations have been fragmentary causing a negative impact on territory

The project solves the subjects with a housing-shelter system. It pursues, apart of generating a building, producing environmental and social mechanisms so that the urban-architectonical project, will be a interdisciplinary, systemic and sustainable product.

The importance of this submission appears when the design project recognizes the environmemt, the landscape and the existing settlements but also the way of living of the inhabitants of the neighborhood to produce an integral project that invoves the participation of different actors and multidisciplinary areas.
The lack of applied examples related to the subject of recovering the river baisins and density increasing on the existing adjacent block of houses, gives a light in the method to approach this type of projects which are of great importance of real proposals that help to improve the development in areas as Medellin.

The study area is delimited by the routes that lock up the topographic breakdown, which establishes the MSU. Then, their parts are analyzed and enumerated from static variables as much as dynamic of the system
60 Microsystems in the zone of study were delimited, all related to environmental axis. There is quantification and qualification of the elements based on 5 classifications: mobility system, empty spaces, consolidation levels, topography and equipment.
The relations between elements are analyzed in a matrix. In this case a binary relation occurs from which a description, a data base and a morphologic pattern is obtained
The hypotheses of the urban-architectonic project of the Microsystems are developed from the analysis of the morphologic patterns. Steps: Elements –Patterns - Morphologic analysis of patterns - Hypothesis and plans.
The applications of the plans give a new vision of the territory in where each component acts a specific function for the balance of the Microsystems. The Microsystems is subdivided into subsystems or precise projects

Conceptual development and general components of the building.
The housing module is thought like an articulated system in which parts can be acquired and be interchanged between individuals of the community. It is constructed from recycled materials and thermal-acoustics components.
Commercial zones are developed In the lower plant of the building that directly integrate activities of the stream river thru footpaths and platforms. - In the high part of the building terraces are configured like support to the complementary activities
