We reinterpret the role of dwelling in the Scottish rural landscape through questioning key aspects including, current regional approaches to land development and the resulting proximity between dwellings, the applicability of localised material resources, sustainable environmental solutions sympathetic to community needs, and the need for a progression of landscape narrative.
