In post-covid era, inter-regional communications have become possible without physical movement. Therefore, now is the best time to distribute power into small regions. To revitalize the local community, we need infrastructures such as laboratory, workshop, and exhibition space, in every region.

However, as these are flexible programs, we should build a structure that can be easily installed and removed from time to time. As a result, I came up with a kit composed of timber structure. The key element is a column made up of four pieces of glulam. The gap between the pieces makes the beams go through the column. This makes it possible to add or remove beams as needed, allowing for easy expansion and renovation.

There are three types or kit according to the scale. Using type S, you can create a storage space with the glulam columns surrounding existing concrete structure. If you want to put new structure over the existing buildings, type M will fit. It will need just one structure wall to support the new timber structure as beam will suspend the floors. If you need these structures in large scale, there is also a type L, which uses stronger beam in truss form.
